The Bourne of the Books, Surprised by Marie

I've finished The Bourne Identity and am half way through The Bourne Supremacy. I am not a fast reader, but I like these books. They couldn't be more different than the movie, but I don't really care. I just like the character Jason Bourne, and these books give me lots of him. Also Marie's character is totally different and I find myself liking her almost as much as Bourne. So far Marie isn't dead and she is nearly as clever as Jason. Ludlum's Bourne is older, but I still imagine him as Matt Damon. Thanks to Doug Liman and Paul Greengrass I can imagine all of the fight scenes in their gritty fast explosive styles. This is really good, because it wouldn't be nearly so fun if I imagined the fights like a Jackie Chan movie or say for example the fighting in the movie The Transporter. Bourne beats a lot of people up, but he seldom if ever kills them. This is interesting because in the movies he offs several people without much of a a thought. I haven't done a body count, but I will add that to my list of trivia to find out about in the Bourne movies. On that note I'll end this post with a trivia question: In the movie The Bourne Identity Jason Bourne only eats one time in the entire movie. What does he eat and when?
